Challenge
Medical Metrics (MMI) is an established provider of radiology core laboratory services for global, multi-center clinical trials in Houston. Their services include imaging protocol development, medical image management, independent image review, and scientific consulting.
Solution
Over the past several years, we have provided software development and related consulting services to MMI which include IT strategy consulting, custom application development, application architecture review, developer mentoring, and IT professionals staffing. Specifically, our solutions have included:
- The alignment of business divisions and IT strategy, including assistance with the re-design and implementation of new business processes
- The development of several (5) integrated applications for MMI offering services to aid device manufacturers in obtaining FDA approval (these applications and their development lifecycle required compliance with various FDA regulations surrounding medical device approval including the security regulation 21 CFR Part 11)
- Ongoing security architecture review and related consulting services, developer mentoring, and database administrator staffing.
